Risen Army Ministry
Risen Army Ministry is an outreach ministry started by friends and family who want to spread the love of Christ. The ministry serves Woodland Crossing and Lafayette Gardens, two neighborhoods in the Richmond, VA area. The goal of Risen Army Ministry is to meet the most basic human needs while showing love and compassion to those in need.
Every month, Risen Army Ministry serves a free meal, gives away clothing, and offers household items to residents. The team works to build relationships with the families in these neighborhoods in hopes that they will come to know the love of Jesus.
Risen Army Ministry welcomes diverse people to come together to serve the community by being the hands and feet of Jesus. They believe that by working together, we can bring real hope to the less fortunate and make a difference in the lives of these families.

Liberation Veterans Service
At Keen Insurance, we're also proud to support Liberation Veterans Service. LVS is a foundation with a vision to "end veteran homelessness while offering the dignity and respect that veterans deserve." They believe that veterans should be offered the resources and support they need to be free from the threat of homelessness.
To accomplish this, LVS assists veterans with a range of needs. This includes addiction services, financial counseling, mental health treatments, job support, and pursuing permanent housing. LVS professionals work with each resident to determine their specific barriers to independent living. Then, they work with them to overcome those barriers.
LVS has a high success rate for veterans who are being placed in housing. Through consistent support and ongoing respect, LVS can help veterans live better lives.
LVS currently needs paper goods, toiletries, and more. You can drop these items off at Keen Insurance. We are proud to serve as a collection site.
