Owner, Kari Smith, believes we do not exist to serve ourselves, but rather to serve others and make a positive difference in other people’s lives. Observing the needs of our community and being proactive, will leave a permanent positive footprint.

Our current featured outreach projects are:
Risen Army Ministry
Risen Army Ministry consisting of friends and family who desired to spread the love of Christ through an outreach ministry approach. The ministry serves two specific neighborhoods in the Richmond area, Woodland Crossing and Lafayette Gardens. The goal is to meet the most basic of human needs, while showing love and compassion. Every month, Risen Army serves a free meal, gives away clothing, and offers household items to the residents. They work to build relationships with the families, in hopes they will come to know the love of Jesus. Risen Army is a ministry that welcomes diverse people to come together to serve the community by being the hands and feet of Jesus. Risen Army believes that by working together we can bring real hope to the less fortunate and make a difference in the lives of these families they have come to know and love.
“My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.” 1 John3:18
Liberation Veterans Service
Liberations Veterans Service (LVS) is a foundation with a vision, “to end veteran’s homelessness, while offering the dignity and respect that veterans deserve.” They believe that veterans should be offered the resources and support they need to be free from the threat of homelessness. LVS’s program assists veterans with the (or ‘these’) specific needs. The program provides addiction services, financial counseling, mental health treatments, job support, and pursuing permanent housing. An LVS professional works with each resident to determine their specific barriers to independent living and works with them to overcome their life challenges. LVS has a high success rate for veterans that are being placed in housing. Their LVS worker continues to team up with them to ensure veterans continue to receive the consistent help needed, along with the respect they deserve. http://www.lfsrichmond.com/
